  • How can you check if a hair colour will look good on you?

You can try using temporary hair dye or virtual hair colour apps to get a preview of how it will look on you.

How long does hair colour last from a hairdresser?

Hair colour from a hairdresser typically lasts around 4-6 weeks, depending on the type of dye used and how well you take care of your coloured hair.

Which hair colour is best and long-lasting?

Some of the best and longest-lasting hair colour options are permanent hair dyes that are ammonia-free and contain nourishing ingredients to maintain the health of your hair.

    Does hair colouring ruin hair?

Hair colouring can potentially damage hair if done improperly or if harsh chemicals are used. It's important to use quality products and follow proper hair care routines to minimise damage.

Is it better to go lighter or darker to cover grey hair?

When covering grey hair, it's often better to go slightly lighter than your natural colour to avoid a harsh contrast as the colour fades and your roots grow out.

Why does my hair feel healthier after dying it?

Hair can feel healthier after dyeing due to the conditioning agents in the dye formula that help to nourish and strengthen the hair strands. The process of colouring can also help seal the cuticles, giving the hair a smoother and shinier appearance.

  • How many foils is a full highlight?

A full highlight typically involves around 20-30 foils.

Do I need a full head of foils every time?

You do not necessarily need a full head of foils every time — it depends on the desired look and maintenance level.

    Should I get half-head or full-head foils?

The choice between half-head or full-head foils depends on the desired coverage and effect.

Do foils take better on dirty hair?

Foils typically work better on clean hair to ensure even distribution and saturation of colour.

  • What is the difference between a balayage and a foil?

Balayage is a freehand technique where colour is painted onto the hair to create a natural, blended look. At the same time, foils involve wrapping sections of hair in aluminium foil to achieve a more precise, uniform colour.

Is balayage good for your hair?

Balayage can be good for your hair if done correctly by a skilled stylist who uses quality products. The technique is less damaging than traditional foiling because it doesn't require as much bleach or heat.

How long would a balayage last?

The duration of a balayage can vary depending on your hair type and maintenance routine. Typically, it can last anywhere from 8-12 weeks before needing a touch-up.

What is the downside of balayage?

One downside of balayage is that it can be more expensive than traditional foil highlights, as it requires more skill and time to achieve a natural, blended look.

Is balayage done in one sitting?

Balayage can often be done in one sitting, especially if you are looking for a subtle, sun-kissed effect. However, if you are making a drastic change or have very dark hair, it may require multiple sessions to achieve your desired result.

    Is balayage high maintenance?

Balayage is generally considered low maintenance compared to all-over colour or traditional highlights because the regrowth is less noticeable. That said, regular toning treatments and the use of colour-safe products are recommended to maintain the vibrancy of the colour.

Does balayage make you look older or younger?

Balayage is a versatile technique that can be customised to flatter any age. It can be used to add dimension and brightness to the hair, giving a more youthful appearance. Ultimately, how balayage looks will depend on your hair colour, skin tone, and desired result.

  • Does keratin hair treatment really straighten my hair?

The keratin hair treatment can help make hair smoother and more manageable and reduce frizz, but it does not necessarily straighten all hair types. The results can vary depending on the individual's hair texture and condition.

How much does keratin hair treatment in Sydney cost?

The price of your keratin treatment depends on many factors. You can check our prices for different hair treatments here.

What treatment is best for my hair?

The best treatment for your hair will depend on your hair type, concerns, and desired results. It is recommended to consult with a hair professional to determine the most suitable treatment for your specific needs.

What kind of products can I use to wash my hair?

You can use a variety of products to wash your hair, including shampoos, conditioners, and hair masks. It is important to choose products that are suitable for your hair type and address any specific concerns you may have, such as dryness, damage, or colour-treated hair.

How long do keratin treatments last?

Keratin treatments can last anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on how well they are maintained and the individual's hair type. It is recommended to follow up with regular maintenance treatments to prolong the results.

Does hair go back to normal after keratin treatment?

After a keratin treatment, hair may gradually return to its natural state as the treatment wears off. Regular touch-ups and proper hair care can help maintain the effects of the treatment for longer periods.

What Is the Difference Between Root Tint and All-Over Tint?

Root tint and all-over tint are two different services targeting specific needs. A root tint focuses solely on the regrowth area near your scalp, making it an excellent option for maintaining your current colour and covering any new growth or grey hairs.

On the other hand, an all-over tint changes the colour of your entire hairstyle from root to tip. It's perfect for those who desire a more drastic change or want to completely alter their hair colour.
